Philanthropy

Our Philanthropy is geared toward children through Convoy of Hope and the March of Dimes (MOD) Foundation

The mission of Convoy of Hope is to “feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response.” Today, more than 80 million people have been served throughout the world by Convoy of Hope. Convoy of Hope works with churches, businesses, government agencies, and other nonprofits to provide help and hope to those who are impoverished, hungry, and hurting.

The mission of MOD is “to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality…through research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies’ lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birth weight.”

Although the March of Dimes has been our national philanthropy since our founding, Convoy of Hope has become our main national philanthropy as of 2017. Delta Psi Sigma is dedicated to supporting Convoy of Hope and as of 2017, Delta Psi Sigma will be hosting events and fundraisers to show our support. Delta Psi Sigma continues to support the March of Dimes as our secondary national philanthropy through events and fundraisers, as well as participating in the annual March of Dimes Walk.
